Play By Play

Dear Sawyer,

I overheard you talking to yourself while you were washing your hands in the bathroom today and you were straight up narrating everything that you were doing: "I squeeze soap on my hands and then I rub my hands to make bubbles. Then I turn on the faucet using my wrist and wash away all the bubbles. I turn the faucet off and walk over to my towel to dry my hands, but not too hard." When you came out of the bathroom and saw me smiling at you, you got a sheepish grin on your face but continued your narration: "And then I give my mommy a big hug."

I asked you who you were telling your story to and you said, "I was telling it to my brain." I love it!

Love,
Mom
